Wagner’s rebellion was an extreme embarrassment for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Politics oh Wow!
Russian President Vladimir Putin’s message on Monday resounds as if ‘all is forgiven’ for Wagner chief Prigozhin’s, Saturday revolt.
On Monday, Putin appeared calmly resolved. Contrary; to the retribution tone Putin expressed two days ago during Wagner’s rebellion.
Since Putin isn’t known for sincere honesty and tolerance of opposition; the test of time will reveal Putin’s true motive and if he will reap his vengeance on Wagner chief Prigozhin. Meanwhile, Prigozhin is exiled to Belarus. Will President Putin sincerely treat the Wagner mercenaries as Russian patriots or was Putin’s kumbaya speech for the global media?

“The extraordinary uprising by the Wagner mercenary force so crucial to Vladimir Putin’s war machine in Ukraine has dominated headlines around the world and raised question marks about the Russian president’s grip on power.”
“The Sunday Times said “Putin humiliated by mutiny” alongside a main picture showing Wagner mercenaries training their rifles on the Russian military headquarters in Rostov-on-Don, the southern Russian city key to the invasion of Ukraine.”
