Niger called for a One Million Man March to demand that France troops leave Niamey’s Capital. Women joined the One Million rally to raise their voices that France troops were not wanted in Niger.
“NIAMEY, Sept 2 (Reuters) – Tens of thousands of protesters gathered outside a French military base in Niger’s capital Niamey on Saturday demanding that its troops leave in the wake of a military coup that has widespread popular support but which Paris refuses to recognize.”
