ET Now GBS 2024: At the summit, the Prime Minister is expected to lay out his vision for a new India, having set a goal to make the country a developed $30-trillion economy by 2047.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the star speaker at the ET Now Global Business Summit (GBS) being held on February 9-10 at New Delhi’s Taj Palace Hotel. The summit will hold deliberations on the theme of ‘Disruption, Development and Diversification.
At the summit, the Prime Minister is expected to lay out his vision for a new India, having set a goal to make the country a developed $30-trillion economy by 2047.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week raised India’s growth forecast for FY25 to 6.5%, from 6.3% projected earlier, underscoring the economy’s buoyancy. India is expected to expand by a better-than-expected 7.3% in the current year. According to IMF estimates, India will become a $5-trillion economy in FY28, after hitting $4 trillion in 2024-25.
