Gospel of Luke: “But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came unto the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.”
The Bible teaches that Jesus was crucified on a Roman cross and then buried in a borrowed tomb. But, on the third day after his crucifixion, the women who had been followers went to his tomb and found it empty. They told the disciples, some of whom also went to the tomb and found it empty. And they left wondering what had happened to Jesus’ body?
Oh grave where is your victory!? Oh death where is your sting!?

O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
